Nebraska Auto Racing Hall of Fame
Gavin Blochowitz Receives Inaugural NARHoF Scholarship
The Nebraska Auto Racing Hall of Fame is proud to announce the winner of the inaugural Nebraska Auto Racing Hall of Fame (NARHOF) Scholarship. Gavin Blochowitz from Julesburg, Colorado is an Automotive Technology student at Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte. The scholarship amounted to $1,000.00.
In part of the required essay, Blochowitz mentioned “I have always had a passion for performance vehicles and the technology behind what makes them go faster. My goal is to learn how build custom one-off performance-oriented vehicles, not only in the horsepower side of things but also in the handling and weight transfer of the vehicle.”
Blochowitz was accompanied by his parents and his automotive instructor Bryan Herrick.
